The kite boarding spots at Issik-Kul

Needless to say that Kyrgyzstan is not the best place to come for a kite surfing trip. Bringing a lot of kite gear may be a problem, but if you travel with a foil kite and a split kiteboard then this maybe a solution.

Overall if you are a person in Kyrgyzstan who want to learn kitesurfing then we are glad to announce a private/group lessons in russian/english. The lessons include all necessary gear. We will be running a kitesurfing school soon. Contact us for any questions.

Kite boarding in Kyrgyzstan, Issik-Kul and Song-Kul

While some groups are still shredding the pow at Aksuu Backcountry Yurt Lodge, we already started our kite boarding season at the Issik-Kul lake, Kyrgyzstan. The first attempt has been made on March 15th and felt like a north-pole kite surfing. The water was freezing-cold even with 5mm wetsuit. It was a light wind session at the Blue Lagoon kitespot with a 17m Cabrinha Contra and 18m Switch Helium. This day we had onshore wind called  Santash.
